Musical Goodness

If you get a chance to go see it, do, it was wonderful.

Laugh of the Day

For some reason the video I want to post won’t work. Go take a look here.

Homespun

One lovely ball of shetland black (I think) hand spun singles, waiting to be plied. The roving was labeled brown shetland, but I think it is shetland black. Here is the singles:

We are not Conservatives

From my parish bulletin. I think that we who are involved in ANiC would do well to remember this. Please read it all.

We are not Conservatives. If you want to be a conservative,
you will probably be uncomfortable at St. Alban’s.
I do not mean to offend. Please bear with me as I explain. We
are not conservatives, or liberals, or new democrats. We are
not ‘right’ or ‘left’ or ‘centrist’. The reason we are not those
things is because they are political labels. They are reasonably
valid ways of talking about politics. However, these terms can
cause great mischief and misunderstanding when applied to
the Christian faith….The fact is that real Christianity will be undermined if we are led by political labels in our common life as disciples.
