Canadian Politics

I wouldn’t have thought that anything that happens in Canadian politics could suprise me, but I’m suprised today.  Stephane Dion and Elizabeth May have agreed not to run candidates in each other’s ridings.  This means absolutely nothing to Stephane Dion – a Green party candidate in his riding would not have threatened  his reelection.  For Elizabeth May, however, it is a coup, especially if the big red machine actually campaigns for her.  Peter McKay needs to watch his back.  Pretty ironic, considering the number of former Progressive Conservatives who still resent the deal he made with the Reform party.  What goes around comes around, eh Peter?
